This species grows in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico and is a low elevation plant that can grow on cactus. It is suject to high winds and long dry spells in the habitat at the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
It is said this species should grow in a warm area but I have tried to grow it in a cool area and they do very well.
Easy to grow.
Plant grows in a 5.5cm pot.
